Veronica has been with her new family for 3 weeks. She has adjusted very well, and is getting used to her new parents and the other kids in the home. For the first couple of nights she was very restless and woke up several times, but now she sleeps through the night. It seems that she has calmed down in an atmosphere of love and security. When veronica was born she has never had sufficient nutrition which affected her digestion system, nervous system, and her mental development. Veronica is just starting to walk. Veronica is a very sociable and open child. She became very fond of our pet - a cat. Veronica always responds very emotionally when she sees the cat coming; she makes exciting sounds and tries to say “kitty”, but it doesn’t come out right yet. She loves the sounds of music. What she needs right now is having her mom around. Only with Anna does she feels completely calm, secure and more sure of herself.
